Rectifier transformers convert AC power to stable DC power. Newtranstech uses grid-side primary and valve-side secondary windings, low leakage reactance, harmonic-suppression windings and heavy-duty insulation. 6-pulse to 60-pulse configurations can be developed for electrolysis, electroplating, hydrogen production, aluminum and copper smelting and DC motor drives. Oil-immersed units can be customized for voltage, capacity and cooling.
